The Luxembourg City Tourist Office has invited Mike & The Mechanics to be the headliner of the Luxembourgish rock festival “Rock um Knuedler“ which take place on Sunday, 6 July 2014 on Place Guillaume II and on Place Clairefontaine, in the very centre of Luxembourg city. Mike & The Mechanics celebrate their 25th anniversary tour of the famous album „Living Years“. With the free-entry concert of Mike & The Mechanics, the upcoming festival promises to be the absolute summer highlight of Luxembourg!
While the album including their most famous song, “Living Years“, celebrates its 25th anniversary, Mike & The Mechanics are still hitting the road, to the pleasure of the fans worldwide. Mike & The Mechanics have written various chapters of the British rock and pop history. Hits like "Silent Running", "All I Need Is A Miracle", "Word Of Mouth", Another Cup Of Coffee and "Over My Shoulder" as well as the album "The Living Years" are milestones of their 40 years old career. In twenty years, the band has sold more than ten million albums.
In Luxembourg, the band will be on stage with Mike Rutherford (guitar, bass), Andrew Roachford (vocals, keyboards) and Tim Howar (vocals), as well as Luke Juby (keyboards), Anthony Drennan (guitar) and Gary Wallis (drums).
The complete line up of the 2014 edition of the festival “Rock um Knuedler“ will be presented in late spring by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office.
